Sty in my eye

Hey there everyone!
Spent Friday walking out to a nearby bridge with Matt and Ruth then had dinner with them and Jessica (another english girl - from my hostel), Paul stayed til he had to catch his bus back to Santiago. Had a beautiful chicken and avocado salad - shock horror I ate lettuce!!! Really needed some veges.
Headed to Puerto Varas by bus on Saturday (6 hours) arrived to find the weather wasn´t nearly as bad as they´d advertised and was in fact beautiful and sunny. Checked into one of the few hostels open at the moment, not the greatest (no kitchen or internet) but single room for $5500 (dorm rooms usually $6000). Walked around town for a few hours then climbed nearby hill to get view of sunset, turns out they don´t care about the sunsets and there´s loads of trees in the way, but it lit up the mountains, not sure how well it will show up in the photos but will be trying them next . . .
